A train struck and killed a female pedestrian in Pismo Beach shortly after 9 last night.
The incident took place in the area of Frady Lane and the 101 overpass.

Traffic slowly started moving through Pismo Beach again on Tuesday evening, after three separate crashes stopped traffic.
They all happened just before 5:00 pm in the southbound lanes of Highway 101 near Price Street.
Seven vehicles in total were involved.
The California Highway Patrol says there were no injuries.
Both lanes of traffic were closed for a time, but reopened at around 5:40 pm.
