Crews will begin making repairs on Stowell Road in Santa Maria on Monday.
The work includes pulverizing the existing roadway surface and the installing a new asphalt surface.
The first section of work will be done between College Drive and Miller Street. There will be just one lane in each direction.

Santa Maria Police say two men led officers on a short pursuit Wednesday night.

There are about 1,500 homeless people who live on the streets in Santa Barbara County. Many have no place to live, but there are also some who choose to live on the streets.
One woman is well-known at Santa Maria City Hall and was recently the subject of a YouTube video.
