The Food and Drug Administration is reviewing the safety of an ingredient in most anti-bacterial soaps and body washes.
Recent studies of Triclosan suggests it might increase the risk for infertility and early puberty. Triclosan is found in 75% of antibacterial products.

The number of suicides among middle-aged adults in the United States has risen sharply since 1999.
A new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention finds suicide deaths have surpassed deaths from car crashes. Between 1999 and 2010, annual suicide rates increased nearly 30%. Rates were highest among people in their 50s.
The report suggests the economic downturn and increased availability to prescription drugs may be factors in suicide spikes.
