    Offshore magnitude-4.1 quake strikes off Malibu

    MALIBU, Calif. (AP) - A small earthquake has given a jolt to the Southern California coast but there are no immediate reports of damages or injuries.

    The U.S. Geological Survey says in a preliminary report that the magnitude-4.1 quake was centered in the Channel Islands area 30 miles southwest of Malibu at 10:14 p.m. Tuesday night.
