Two people are behind bars after a pursuit ended at a Big 5 Sporting Goods store in Santa Maria Sunday.
Officials with the California Highway Patrol say the pursuit began near Oceano and ended in Santa Maria.
They say two people were in the car.
The car eventually crashed, and the occupants fled on foot to the nearby sports store.
They were arrested behind Big 5 shortly after.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of a house fire in Atascadero.
It happened in the 3600 block of Campbell Lane just after 3 p.m. Sunday.
The first started in the garden and quickly spread to the attic. It was contained within 20 minutes.
Officials say no one was in the home at the time, and there are no reports of injuries.
Officials estimate as much as $80,000 in damages.

Local runners took to Santa Maria Saturday for the Bull Canyon Run.
Runners could choose a 10K or 5K walk or run.
There was also a .5K Kid's Run for ages two to five, and a 1K Kid's Run for ages six to nine.
The run kicked off at the Edwards Community Center in Santa Maria.
This was the 15th year for the event.
