Two juveniles, who police say are associated with a local criminal street gang, are behind bars after a fight in Lompoc late Monday night.
Lompoc Police say officers responded to the 800 block of North F,G alley around 10 p.m. to reports of a suspected gang fight where weapons were being used.
When police arrived, they say several people were leaving the area in a vehicle, and when officers tried to stop the vehicle, they say several people inside, including two boys, ran away.
Police say the two boys were later arrested near a restaurant in the 600 block of North H Street.
Shortly after the incident, police say three people with stab wounds arrived at a local hospital.
Two were treated and released, and a third was taken to another hospital.
Police believe the two incidents are related and ask anyone with information to call the Lompoc Police Department at (805) 736-2341.
The two boys were booked into the Santa Maria Juvenile Hall on suspicion of various charges including participation in a criminal street gang.
