23 Area teams ranked in latest CIF Coaches Polls

Twenty-three Central Coast high school sports teams were ranked in the latest wave of CIF-Southern Section Coaches Polls on Monday.

The San Luis Obispo and Santa Ynez girls soccer teams re-entered the polls this week. The Morro Bay girls basketball, Arroyo Grande boys soccer and Cabrillo boys basketball teams debuted in the polls for the first time this season. The Tiger girls basketball squad also climbed five spots this week to #7 in its division under head coach Dan Monroe.
