AG Strawberry Fest this weekend features wide variety of live music

This weekend, the 30th Annual Arroyo Grande Strawberry Festival kicks off.
Sunset Magazine says it's the place to be on Memorial Day weekend and while you can expect to see lots of arts, crafts, the Strawberry Stampede Run/Walk, and a plethora of strawberry infused delicacies, you'll also hear some great music.
Country and Western group "Highway 1", featuring Chuck Williams on rhythm guitar, Pat Ward on bass, and her husband Ray Ward on lead guitar.
They play the old Ben E. King classic, "Stand By Me," and all kinds of tunes,... particularly Classic Country.
"Highway 1" will take the Village Center Stage on Sunday from 10am to 1pm.
At almost the same time, Jazz fans can catch some Blues Brothers licks when the Nipomo High Titan Jazz Band takes the Rooster Creek Centennial Stage on Sunday.

They'll perform all sorts of big band standards from 10:30am to 11:15am, under the direction of band leader, Tricia Stewart.

And there will be all sorts of other bands taking the stage all day long, both Saturday and Sunday. For more information on all the acts and activities at the strawberry fest, just go to the ksby.com homepage and click on "Links."
