An update on California Primary measures and propositions

Here's an update on the measures and propositions results in the June 3 California Primary election:

42 percent of precincts are reporting for Propositions 41 and 42.

For Proposition 41, 65 percent are in favor, with 1,484,768 voting yes.

35 percent are against, with 783,877 voting no.

Proposition 41 authorizes $600 million in general obligation bonds for affordable multifamily supportive housing to relieve homelessness, affordable transitional housing, affordable rental housing, or related facilities for veterans and their families.

For Proposition 42, 61 percent of voters are in favor, with 1,325,126 people voting yes.

39 percent of voters are against the proposition, with 862,792 voting no.

Proposition 42 amends the state constitution to require governments pay for complying with state transparency laws.

94 percent of precincts are reporting for Measure M.

51 percent of voters are against the measure, with 27,330 voting no.

49 percent are in favor of the measure, with 25,983 voting yes.
