Prior to 10am temps were already in the low to mid 80s with offhsore winds which means some upper 90s to near 100 degree highs will happen in coastal valleys today with interior valleys slightly cooler, most beaches should be in the 80s. That'll be record of near record heat for most.
Not much changes on Thursday, the offshore wind weakens a bit but should still be enough to produce another hot day perhaps a tad cooler than day by a few degrees. Friday continues the very slight cooling but I still expect upper 80s and 90s for the coastal valleys.
Saturday stronger NW winds return, up to 25 or 30mph which will dramatically cool temps back into the 70s near the coast. That'll help reform the night and morning marine clouds and if anything next week looks cooler than average.
