Antibody in blood could signal Multiple Sclerosis

Researchers have found an antibody that could signal whether or not a person will develop Multiple Sclerosis.

The new, small study out of Germany looked at blood samples from 16 people who were later diagnosed with MS and compared them to blood samples from healthy adults.

Researchers found just under half of the MS patients had the disease-related antibody in their blood years before they had any symptoms.

Experts say they need to conduct larger studies.
