Atascadero lights up for holiday season November 30th

The City of Atascadero will hold it's Holiday Lighting Ceremony on Friday November 30, 2012 beginning at 6 pm.

The Community Services Department says it will set up the Atascadero Main Street stage on Palma Ave in front of the City Administration Building and bring in additional lighting. There will be a countdown to the lighting of the trees in the Sunken Gardens.

The Atascadero Community Band and the Atascadero High School Show and Concert Choirs will be there to add to the holiday spirit through music. And Santa will be arriving in the Atascadero antique fire truck to the tune of "Here Comes Santa Claus". Hot chocolate will be served at the Holiday Lighting stage afterwards, and kids can get their face painted.

Adults will enjoy the Atascadero Main Street Art and Wine Tour 5:30-8:30 pm. Enjoy wine, food, music and good fellowship with our friendly merchants, tour the art galleries, and meet the artists.
