Officials say the body of a diver who went missing Friday afternoon has been found.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office says the Coroner's Bureau has positively identified the body as William Arlo Ooms, 59, from Solvang.
He was reported missing around 12:20 p.m.
They say Ooms was with a group of people on a 22-foot dive boat based in the Santa Barbara Harbor.
People from the group that Ooms was with found his body around 4:30 p.m. Friday on the north side of Santa Cruz Island.
Crews from the U.S. Coast Guard and divers from Los Angeles County assisted in the search.
Officials are investigating his cause and manner of death.
