Butterfly Bingo event to benefit state parks

The Central Coast State Parks Association (CCSPA) is getting ready for Butterfly Bingo, a night of song, dinner, and games to benefit local parks. CCSPA is a nonprofit that raises money for education and interpretation in local state parks including Ocean Dunes, the Monarch Grove, Montana de Oro, the Museum of Natural History at Morro Bay State Park, and Harmony Headlands.

"Butterfly Bingo: The Butterflies Fly to Paris" event happens February 12. The event is from 5- 8 p.m. at the SLO Elks Club. There will be a light dinner provided by Cahoots Catering out of Paso. A cappella group will be singing swing from the '40's. There will be a raffle, silent auction and 10 bingo games. Organizers say it's not just a bingo party. It's a party with bingo included!

Tickets are $40. Call (805) 748-8278 or visit ccspa.info to purchase tickets.
