Cal Poly earns 4-3 walk-off win over Cal St. Fullerton

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The Cal Poly baseball team earned their eighth consecutive victory in a 4-3 walk-off win against Cal State Fullerton at Baggett Stadium on Friday.

With one out in the 13th inning, Nick Torres doubled home Mark Mathias to propel the Mustangs (33-5, 10-1) to their 14th victory in their last 15 games.

Junior Reed Reilly fired 4 2/3 innings of hitless relief to earn his second win of the season. The Cal Poly pitching staff collectively struck out 20 Titan batters, Reilly recording nine of them.

Mark Mathias and Peter Van Gansen each had four hits for the Mustangs, who finished with 17 hits as a team.

Cal State Fullerton (18-15, 3-5) was led by Clay Williamson, who had three of the Titan's five hits.
