The Cal Poly Dance-Sport team hosted its Sixth Annual Ballroom and Latin Dance Competition Saturday.
Teams from around the state were invited to compete in international and American style ballroom dances.
The night finished off with a professional ballroom dance showcase. One of the dancers in the showcase, Lorena Bravo, is a Cal Poly alumna who started out in the club as an amateur and became a professional dancer a year later.
"The collegiate Dance-Sport scene is something very dear to my heart. It is such an honor to get to come back to the Mustang Ball six years later and dance the showcase as a professional," Bravo said.
The Cal Poly Dance-Sport team offers ballroom dance lessons every Thursday night for $4. You can find out more information here.
