Cal Poly projected to finish fourth in both Big Sky polls

The Big Sky Conference released both the coaches and media preseason polls for this upcoming football season Tuesday, and Cal Poly is projected to finish fourth in both polls.

In a season plagued with injuries and quarterback changes, the Mustangs ended their season in a tie for fourth place in the Big Sky standings with a 6-6 overall record last year.

Cal Poly outscored its opponents last season, averaging 28.5 points per game and holding their opponents to a 21.6 average, and out ran them by over 2,000 yards. Kristaan Ivory, who will be returning for his senior season this fall, lead the team with 1,113 yards.
