Cal Poly stunt team beats Glendale College in first ever Cal Poly stunt match

The Cal Poly Stunt Team competed against Glendale College Saturday in the first Stunt Match that has ever been played on the Cal Poly campus.

Stunt is a new sport that incorporates different skills of cheerleading in a game format.

There are time outs, a coin toss, and a half time.

The game is split into four quarters: stunts, followed by pyramids and tosses, then jumps and tumbling, and finally, pre-choreographed team routines.

The Cal Poly team won the match 30 to 17.

On the sideline, the Cal Poly Marching Band showed its support.
