CDC Study finds more school children with Autism symptoms

A new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that a number of children diagnosed with autism has risen over the past five years.

Autism can be identified as young as 18 months old, but many children with milder symptoms may not be diagnosed until they are in school. The study found one out of 50 children was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder between the ages of six and 17.

That's up significantly from 2007, when one in 86 was found with Autism.
