Central Coast artist creates anti seismic art

PG&E's proposed Seismic Testing project has many Central Coast residents voicing their opinions, but a local artist is making his voice heard in a more creative way.
You might notice Josh Talbott working on a mural in Morro Bay. He's calling it "For Love of the Sea," and it's his way of speaking out against seismic testing. He says the name is fitting, and it's our job to love and protect our coastal areas from projects that can destroy it.
"To allow this to happen right here in our front yard, this beautiful unspoiled stretch of coast just doesn't make any sense. So with what little resources I have, what little clout I have with my community, I figured I would go ahead and do this," said Talbott.
Local businesses donated the painting supplies and billboard materials, and a Morro Bay resident is lending a spot on his private property for the cause. Talbott used the pages from old sea books to create a collage.
Friday was day two of his project, which he says should take two weeks.
