A handful of Central Coast Vintners have some bragging rights this week. They brought home the hardware from the American Fine Wine Competition that happened in late January in Florida. More than 600 American wines take part in the competition.
Daou Vineyards in Paso Robles won double gold from the judges for their 2010 Cabernet Reserve and for their 2010 1740 Reserve. Happy Canyon Vineyards in Santa Barbara won double gold for it's 2007 Barrack Ten Goal Reserve. Jada Vineyards in Paso Robles won double gold for it's 2010 Hell's Kitchen Rhone Blend.
Baileyana Vineyards in Edna Valley won two golds, and Eberle Vineyards in Paso Robles won one gold and three silvers. White Hawk Vineyards in Santa Barbara also won silvers, as did Brochelle Vineyards in Paso Robles, Cass Winery in Paso Robles and Jada Vineyards in Paso Robles.
