The California Highway Patrol is investigation a collision between a semi-truck and pick up truck on the Cuesta Grade.
It happened around 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
One of the lanes on Highway 101 North is closed because of the crash.
The CHP says the semi-truck was headed northbound on the grade, when it was rear-ended by a Chevy Silverado.
The semi was carrying produce.
The man driving the Silverado was evaluated for a DUI, according to a CHP officer on the scene.
Crews are still trying to clear the wreckage and investigators are still piecing together what happened.
The man driving the semi still couldn't believe what he saw Thursday evening.
"I'm really really surprised for some reason when I got out of the truck I thought I was going to see somebody in there not moving or anything, but when I got out this guy... he's a miracle he's walking you know few cuts and bruises but he's okay," said Alvaro Saravia.
Minor injuries have been reported, but no one was taken to the hospital.
Traffic is moving slowly in both lanes.
