The San Luis Obispo Farmer's Market may be famous for its fresh fruits and vegetables, but there's more than just food stands there.
The CHP is one of the many groups who come out to the weekly market.
They come out to reach out to the public.
Questions range from how to get out of a parking ticket to joining the CHP.
The officers even have coloring books and other items for the kids that come visit the booth.
"We enjoy coming and interacting with the public and making ourselves more accessible to them so they can come up and ask whatever kind of questions they have," said CHP Officer Danny Maher.
The CHP tries to come out to farmer's market every other week.
