Clear skies and light winds will produce some of the coldest temps of the winter season for the Central Coast overnight. Interior valleys can expect temps to drop into the low 20s and some teens are possible in the deep interior.

The Central Coast, Southcoast and Santa Ynez valley will all see temps dropping to 32 degrees or colder, in fact upper 20s are forecasted for most near the coast.

Freeze warnings are in place from 3am to 9am Tuesday.

The good news is that clear skies and plenty of sun finally make a dent in the cold in the extended forecast. Low 70s are in the forecast for later this week and the weekend looks fabulous.

No rain in this 6-day forecast.
