A weak system is approaching this afternoon, bringing the marine layer up to Lompoc. High clouds will move into the region and the marine layer will deepen by tonight. A cooling trend and low clouds is expected for Tuesday. Temperatures could be up to 10 degrees cooler on Tuesday compared to Monday. Winds may reach advisory levels across the Central Coast Tuesday afternoon and evening. Then a shift to warmer weather on Wednesday and Thursday before a low pressure system brings a cool down, increase in cloud coverage and a 30 percent chance of showers Friday and a 20 percent chance of showers Saturday morning.
