Atascadero's summer Movies in the Gardens continues this Saturday with a showing of "Curious George" in the Sunken Gardens.
Movies in the Gardens happens every Saturday through August 24th, beginning at approximately 8:00 pm. All shows are held in the Sunken Gardens Park located at 6500 Palma Avenue in Atascadero and are family appropriate (rated G&PG).
This Saturday August 10th, the Man in the Yellow Hat travels to Africa where he accidentally adopts an adorable chimpanzee named George. While George is surely cute, his curiosity has a tendency to get him into a series of predicaments in this endearing big-screen adaptation of the beloved books by Margaret E. Rey.
The movies are free for the community and you are encouraged to bring a blanket, low-back chair, and your family to relish the warm summer evenings. A snack bar will be open every week with treats and beverages to purchase, provided by St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
