Dirty Wars documentary screens at UCSB

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have received a lot of attention in the media, but what about military action in places like Yemen and Somalia? That's the subject of a new documentary film that's screening Tuesday night.

"Dirty Wars" is about an investigative reporter who discovers secret activities conducted by the Joint Special Operations Command.

It's a Sundance award winning documentary featuring interviews with CIA agents, special forces operators, military generals, and U.S.-backed warlords.

It screens Tuesday, October 22 at 7:30 pm at Campbell Hall on the UC Santa Barbara campus. It's $10 to get in, or $5 if you're a student.
