Every minute counts when it comes to stroke treatment

Researchers have already established that stroke patients need clot-busting medications quickly to have the best chance of a full recovery.

Now, researchers in Australia say speeding up treatment by just one minute equals almost another two days of healthy life.

For every 15-minute delay in treatment, researchers say stroke survivors could lose about a month of their full abilities.
