Family of car accident victim asks for help funding memorial services

The family of the Santa Maria man killed in a car accident Tuesday is asking the public for help raising funds for memorial services.

20-year-old Fernando Eulogio was killed on September 10th in a car accident at the intersection of Simas and Betteravia Roads. According to the California Highway Patrol, Eulogio drove onto the road from the dirt shoulder, into the path of an SUV. The driver of the SUV, 64-year-old William Bryson from Santa Maria, was unable to avoid hitting Eulogio's car. Both cars crashed into an agricultural ditch along the side of the road. Eulogio's car overturned, and officers say he was killed in the accident. Bryson suffered moderate injuries.

A funeral and burial service are being held next week.

You can donate to the family at any Bank of America. Just donate to the account under the name of Desiderio Regino. The account number is 3250.2916.9131.

There will also be a benefit barbecue on October 5th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 112 East Grant Avenue in Santa Maria.
