Fire crews say man suffered moderate burns in vegetation fire

Santa Barbara County fire officials say the man who suffered burns when a vegetation fire sparked in Los Alamos Tuesday was taken to the hospital.

A vegetation fire was reported at about 11:30am Tuesday in the 9200 block of Alisos Canyon Road. Fire crews contained the fire in about 45 minutes. Six acres burned.

It was a 27-year-old man who suffered moderate burns. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
