SANTA YNEZ, Calif. - Five Santa Ynez High School players will be a part of next week's FCA All-Star Classic.
The group - which will play on Team Northern Santa Barbara County - is led by Clayton Hanly, who set a California state record with eight-and-a-half sacks in a single game last season.
"It's really cool because there are a lot of guys who aren't going to experience college football," said Hanly, "I feel like this game is very close in the way that there are some guys you do know, but you get together with a lot of guys and a lot of different athletes."
Hanly will be joined by fellow teammates Nick Nielsen, Leonardo Marmolejo, Zachary Adam, and K.J. Harris.
Team Northern Santa Barbara County has never lost an All-Star Classic. This year's game is on June 7th at War Memorial Stadium in Paso Robles.
