Gang detectives investigating shooting

Police in Santa Maria responded to a shooting Saturday afternoon.

It happened around 11:45 a.m. in the 300 block of South Curryer.

They say they found the victim, whose injuries are not life-threatening, at a local hospital.

Santa Maria Police Gang Detectives are investigating the shooting.
