Grover Beach man killed in single car crash

Officials with the California Highway Patrol say a Grover Beach man was killed in a single vehicle crash Friday night.

It happened just before 11 p.m.

According to reports, the 33-year-old man was driving westbound on Lynch Canyon approaching Oak Shores Drive in Bradley.

Officials say he was driving too fast, and he failed to make a left turn.

His car travelled off the road and into a dirt embankment where it rolled several times.

He was killed in the crash.

He has not been identified pending notification of next of kin.

Officials don't know if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
