UPDATE: Grover Beach Police tell KSBY News officers are firing gas into the home on Mentone Ave. to try to get a reaction from Forgey.

They say it is similar to a strong pepper spray, or tear gas.

The SWAT Team has attempted contact with William Forgey for more than an hour.

They say he has not responded. Police say PG&E cut power to the home.

Grover Beach Police, the California Highway Patrol, Arroyo Grande Police, SWAT teams, undercover police, and K-9 Units are all on scene.

Grover Beach Police say 46-year-old William Roger Forgey is inside the home in the 800 block of Mentone Avenue and is armed and dangerous.
