Investigators with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office Gang Task Force and Narcotics Unit arrested three people Tuesday after receiving a tip about a drug operation at a local hotel, the sheriff's office said.
According to the sheriff's office, investigators found approximately six ounces of heroin, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a samurai sword in a room at the Budget Inn on Olive Street in San Luis Obispo.
Deputies arrested Lance Anthony Lodolo, 30, of Morro Bay on suspicion of possession of heroin for sale and committing a felony while out on felony bail. Morro Bay resident Clifton Puett, 36, and Alichia Renee Starnes, 33, of Los Osos were also arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Investigators say the heroin has a street value of about $9,000. They say they also found $1,700 in cash.
