High blood pressure affects nearly as many Hispanics as Caucasians, but a new study finds the condition is largely undiagnosed and untreated in the Hispanic community.
Researchers say it's mostly because of a lack of health insurance.
Hispanics are the largest minority group in the United States, but they are the least insured.
Experts say health care needs to be improved among Hispanic Americans by making low cost medications available and by creating better access to diagnostic and treatment services.
