West to northwest facing beaches of the Central Coast will see larger swells and break through the weekend.

Surf height of 10 to 15 feet will persist through Saturday with occasional sets to 18 feet on exposed northwest facing beaches. The surf will begin to subside Sunday morning.
Sets of 10 to 12 feet may persist through Sunday afternoon.

High surf will produce strong and dangerous rip currents... along with a risk of sneaker waves and localized erosion at area beaches. Use caution when visiting beaches and remember to never turn your back on the ocean.
