The wet weather returns to the Central Coast, but the rain is expected to end late Saturday night with only a few lingering showers early Sunday morning.
Rainfall totals for the last 24 hours are between a 1/4 and 1/2 inch in the coastal valleys and along the beaches. Some areas on the Central Coast experienced hail and higher in the mountains some snow has been spotted especially on the South Coast.
The weekend should come to an end with clear skies and a cold night. Below normal temperatures should stick around until Monday morning.
Dry weather should continue early next week with a slight chance of rain midweek.
There is a high surf advisory in effect until Sunday morning at 8:00. Surf between 10 and 14 feet will impact mainly west and northwest facing beaches with occasional 16 foot sets.
Have a great weekend!
