High swells along the coast and significant warming trend on the way

A trough from a low pressure system is still lingering over our area and will be hanging around through Monday. That means more cool mild temperatures. Also, night and morning low clouds and fog. High pressure starts to push it's way in mid-week bringing a significant warming trend. Possibly getting into the triple digits for some inland areas. We could see some high swells and surf along the coast through the end of next week with a lull on Monday then very strong conditions through Friday. The National Weather Service has issued a beach hazard statement for potential damaging high surf and coastal flooding Tuesday afternoon through Friday for Southeast and South facing beaches.

Thank you Vincent Shay Photography for the picture taken in Avila Beach this weekend.
