Irish Music Festival raises money for locals impacted by autism

The First Annual Blarney at the Beach Irish Music Festival was held Sunday in Avila Beach.

Guests could enjoy live music from The Young Dubliners and other bands.

There was also traditional Irish food and drinks.

The event is a fundraiser for the Central Coast Autism Spectrum Center.

"We have a population that really does need a lot of services, and the national average is one in 88 at this time, and San Luis Obispo County is right there with the rest of the nation," said Mercedes Meier.

The Central Coast Autism Spectrum Center teamed up with the Avila Beach Golf Resort and Tullamore Dew to put on the event.
