Keeping your pet safe from the summer heat

The summer heat has found it's way to much of the Central Coast and the rest of the country as well. Our pets can easily overheat without the ability to remove their fur coat. Don't leave your pet in your car, and consider going for walks in the morning or evening to avoid the heat of the day. Here's more information on "Keeping Your Pet Safe from Summer Heat."

With the heat often comes increased activity in the water. If you bring your dog to a lake or the ocean consider important water safety guidelines to make it a pleasurable and safe experience for you and your pet. This article on "Pet Water Safety" has some great reminders!
