LA Times says central coast piers are "MVP's"

Tree area piers are on the L.A. Time's list of MVP's: Must Visit Piers."

The Port San Luis pier was mentioned for its "Place that time forgot" ambiance. The San Simeon pier was included because of its view of Hearst Castle in the distance. And Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara is also on the list. It was noted for its extensive eating and shopping choices and the Ty Warner Sea Center.
