Launch scheduled from Vandenberg Air Force Base Monday

Vandenberg Air Force Base is set to launch a new satellite on Monday.

The Atlas V Rocket will launch sometime between 10:02 and 10:50 a.m.

The rocket will carry a Landsat Satellite that is designed to document the earth's changing climate. It will also take pictures of glaciers, forests, and coastlines.

This will be the eighth Landsat Satellite launched.
