Local hospital welcomes first Central Coast baby of 2013

There is a new addition to a family here on the Central Coast for the New Year.

The first baby in San Luis Obispo County was born at 3:16am Tuesday morning at French Hospital Medical Center in San Luis Obispo. The Estrada family welcomes a 6lbs. 12 oz. baby boy into the world.

In Northern Santa Barbara County, staff members at three separate hospitals say they have not yet had any new babies.
