16 local wineries came together this weekend to help some of the community's cutest members.

The 46 West Wineries in Paso Robles hosted its Wine Safari Weekend on Saturday and Sunday. Guests were able to purchase a passport that provided free tasting at all of the participating wineries. Guests also got the chance to visit a different wild animal at each location.

"You can go and meet and greet all kinds of animals, from kangaroos to lemurs, to camels, to just about anything you can think of," said David Jackson, Director of Zoo to You.

A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Zoo to You. The animal rescue organization educates kids about wildlife and the environment by bringing their "animal ambassadors" to schools.

A baby camel and kangaroo recently joined the organization's animal family.
