Longtime Paso Robles restaurant Wilson's closing

It's one of the mainstays of Paso Robles. Anyone who's lived in the area for any amount of time has likely had breakfast there numerous times. But come this Sunday, Wilson's will close.

The Paso landmark opened at the corner of 28th and Spring in 1948. Walk in the place and you'll likely be served by someone who's worked there for decades. But employees tell KSBY the owners Harold and Gail Hansen are ready to retire.

While there is a bowling alley nearby it is not owned by the Hansens. The restaurant stopped serving dinner a few yeras ago, but has remained a favorite for breakfast and lunch, both of which you can get all day long.

Viewers we talked to sound like they're losing an old friend in hearing about the closure of Wilsons. Look for more on this story tomorrow on KSBY.
