Man facing charges after Santa Maria shooting Sunday night

New information is being released about a shooting that took place in Santa Maria Sunday Night.

Detectives arrested 31-year-old Feliciano Ruiz on Tuesday after they say he went to a home in the 400 block of North Oakley, threatening the people inside.

Police say someone shot Ruiz in self defense.

Investigators say there was no pre-existing dispute before the shooting, and they believe Ruiz was looking for someone else and went to the wrong home.
