A man was taken to the hospital Monday night after being stabbed in Santa Maria.
Santa Maria Police say just after 10 p.m., the victim was approached by two men in a car in the 1900 block of South Miller Street.
Police say the men started punching and kicking the victim before stabbing him once in the leg with an unknown object.
Both men took off before police arrived. The incident is under investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Santa Maria Police Department.
