LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say 58-year-old man in a motorized wheelchair wasn't in a designated crosswalk when he was hit and killed by a vehicle on a busy Las Vegas street.
The Clark County coroner on Friday identified the dead man as Darrell Stevens of Las Vegas.
Police say Stevens was crossing Jones Boulevard at Moberly Avenue when he was struck a little before 5 p.m. Thursday by a car driven by 65-year-old Keiko Cubit.
Police say Cubit wasn't injured and remained at the scene. The investigation is continuing.
