The Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office says a man charged in the fatal hit and run death of a Santa Maria man pled guilty today.
Alvino Corona pled guilty to multiple charges, including gross vehicular manslaughter, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license.
The DA's Office says there was no plea bargain involved.
Frank Diaz, Jr. was out walking his dog in February when he was hit and killed by Corona. The dog also died in the accident.
Corona will be sentenced on May 16. He faces a minimum of five years of formal probation or a maxium of 11 years in prison.
